Located in the Midlands of South Carolina, Fort Roofing & Sheet Metal Works, Inc., was established in March of 1936, by William T Fort, Sr. In the Spring of 1963 his son,
W. T. Fort, Jr began managing the company and continued to do so for the next 42 years, until he, in turn , passed it to his son, William T Fort, III in February 2005.
